Notice is hereby given that the CLINTON TOWNSHIP SCHOOL DISTRICT (“District”) is seeking Proposals from qualified Energy Service Companies for the planning, development and implementation of an Energy Savings Plan through an Energy Savings Improvement Program pursuant to the Energy SavingsImprovement Program Law, P.L. 2009, c. 4, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-4.6 and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-42.
All comments and questions concerning this Request for Proposal (RFP”) and the corresponding procedures and requirements must be addressed in writing, via email, facsimile or mail, to the following:

The Clinton Township School District has participated in the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities' Local Government Energy Audit Program and has received its completed energy audit report. A hard copy of this completed, independent energy audit report, a complete 24-month history of the most recent utility bills for all utilities serving each District facility within the scope of this RFP (electric, natural gas, fuel oil, water, sewer, propane, etc.) and one complete set of RFP documents may be obtained by interested parties at no cost from the above address. Upon request, electronic copies of both the energy audit report and RFP documents may also be obtained via electronic mail.
A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on August 14 at 2PM at the District address above. A facility inspection visit will occur immediately following the Pre-Proposal Conference. Follow-up facility inspections may be scheduled at times that are mutually convenient to Proposers and District representatives. It is mandatory that a Proposer conduct at least one facility inspection of each facility listed in this RFP to be considered an eligible Proposer responding to this RFP.
Sealed Proposals will be received by September 20,2024 until 2PM Eastern Standard Time at the District’s Board office. The District reserves the right to reject Proposals that are not received at the time and in the manner designated by this RFP. Any and all Proposals may be rejected if deemed by the District to be in its best interests.
Proposers are required to comply with the affirmative action requirements set forth in P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27).
