The Clinton Township Board of Education would like to announce the availability of an open board seat. Interested candidates must submit their name, address, a phone number, and an e-mail address, along with a letter of interest and a resume for consideration no later than 4 pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018.

Bids will be received until 11:00 AM, local prevailing time, on Friday, June 1, 2018 at which time said bid proposals will be publicly opened and announced by the Business Administrator for the Clinton Township Board of Education at the Board Office located at 128 Cokesbury Road, Lebanon, NJ 08833. Bids, utilizing the bid forms as prepared by the Architect, may be submitted in person, by mail or delivery service prior to that time. Any bid submitted by mail or delivery service is done so at the sole risk of the bidder. No Bids will be received by facsimile or electronic transmission. It is expressly understood that the bidder is responsible for getting the bid proposals to the Business Administrator prior to the time and date set for the bid opening. The bidding documents (original documents with addendums) have been prepared by the Architectural firm of Parette Somjen Architects L.L.C. with an office at 439 Route 46 East, Rockaway, NJ 07866, Telephone 973.586.2400. Specifications, proposal forms, etc. may be obtained from the Architect's Office and will be available commencing Thursday, May 03, 2018.
Bidding documents may be obtained directly from the office of the Architect only upon receipt of a twenty-five dollars ($25.00) non-refundable fee. Checks should be drawn to the order of Parette Somjen Architects L.L.C. Drawings and specifications shall be available for inspection at the Architect's Office from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Project information is also available on the Architect’s website, http://www.planetpsa.com/bid-status. However, copies of the bid specifications, bid forms, and bidding documents are not available on the Architect’s website and must be obtained from the Architect’s office as set forth above.
There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled for the project.
The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, theremoval and replacement of the head-end unit of the building contols system and all associated work at the Clinton Township Middle School.
Bids will be considered in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et.seq.
Bids will be received from a Contractor for one price for entire project, all trades, all-inclusive. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the following category; pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27.1, et.seq.:

No modifications to the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions or Specifications will be permitted prior to bid acceptance except as may be allowed by amendment as outlined in the Specifications. Bids that propose modifications or substitutions to the requirements may result in rejection of the bid as being non-responsive.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et.seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et.seq. concerning equal employment opportunity and affirmative action and Chapter 33, Public Laws of 1977 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2) requiring submission of a statement of corporate ownership.
Bidders and subcontractors for each of the major branches of work specified in N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18 must be prequalified by the DPMC. Bidders shall submit a Certificate of Prequalification/Classification from the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) and Affidavit as to the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts for the bidder and all major subcontractors.
Bidders and all major subcontractors are required to comply with the Public Works Contractor Registration Act, Chapter 238, Public Laws of 1999 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.51 et.seq.) and to possess current certification from the Division of Wage and Hour Compliance in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development at the time the bid is submitted. Bidders are also required to submit a Business Registration Certificate issued by the Division of Revenue in the New Jersey Department of Treasury.
All Bidders are required to submit an affidavit by the Bidder that the Bidder is not, at the time of the bid, included on the New Jersey State Treasurer’s List or the Federal Government List of Debarred, Suspended or Disqualified Firms or individuals pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:19-4 and N.J.A.C. 19:38A-4.
All Bidders are required to complete and submit a Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran Form in accordance withN.J.S.A 52:32-58 and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-49.4.
Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of (1) a bid bond or certified or cashier’s check payable to the Clinton Township Board of Education equal to 10% of the amount of the bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000.00 as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24 and (2) Certificate of Consent of Surety as per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25. The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds as specified in the Bid Documents.

The Clinton Township Board of Education is currently requesting proposals for the management of school food services. The Food Service Management Company (FSMC) will provide management services according to United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and guidelines as well as the New Jersey Department of Agriculture policies and guidelines.
The FSMC must currently be registered with the NJ Department of Agriculture Division of Food and Nutrition.
Specifications for proposals may be obtained from Edward McManus, School Business Administrator/Purchasing Agent between the hours of 8AM to 4PM at the address listed below.
Upon release of the Request For Proposal (RFP), all FSMC Communications concerning this information must be directed in writing no later 4:00PM on April 26, 2018 to the school business administrator, who is the only authorized contact person for the RFP.
A walk-through meeting is scheduled for Thursday April 26, 2018 at 9:00AM beginning at the Round Valley School, 128 Cokesbury Road, Lebanon, NJ 08833.
